A large earthen work ground sculpture (created in 2002) located near Hudson’s Hope, BC, about 75 miles from Fort St John. (at the very top of this map)
This is an image of the Hudson Hope earthenwork peace sanctuary at a gravel pit in Northeastern British Columbia. This work is 1000 ft in diameter and was created by Deryk Houston in 2002. It was constructed using a 42 ton Cat Skinner (bulldozer). Hundreds of tons of material were moved to form a primitive simple mother and child image.
